The adsorption of anionic surfactants ( 1225OSO3Na and 1225 C6H4SO3Na ) on natural and Fe, Al-modified clays is studied. It is shown that the clay modifying by Fe-, Al polyhydroxocations lead to a significant increase in their specific surface area and aniono-exchange capacity.
